BACKGROUND: I've been playing video games since I was about 4 with my first system being the Nintendo Entertainment System and my first game was the Super Mario Bros. I've also been programming since the days of BASIC on my dad's old Tandy computer. I've grown quite fond of programming games and programs for mine and my friend's graphing calculators. I also like to hardcode my own webpages (I just recently learned a little on how to code using CSS by reverse-engineering other websites) preferring to use Notepad over glitzier editors like Dreamweaver or Frontpage. Because of this desire to build things from scratch, I took a huge interest in video game design in high school and found that the only school to offer such a program was The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I've been attending AiP since graduating high school in 2003 and I have since graduated AiP in March, 2007. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Game Art and Design. I possess the skills to work in the video game industry, the animated movie industry, and graphic design.
